The birth of the R + D started in USA with Bishop Electric (1956) and Plymouth Rubber Company (1896) as well as Nuñez Tapes in Europe. The first steps of technological development of products mainly gave an effective response to the needs of the electricity market and automotive, placing companies as benchmarks to follow.
