PLYWRAP® 11 (10 mil) ®

A corrosion protection, pressure sensitive vinyl tape giving complete environmental, mechanical and electrical protection for all types of pipewrapping applications. UV, bacteria and fungus resistant, Plywrap 11 tape can be used for both overhead and direct burial applications. Fed. Spec. L-T- 001512. Lead-free.

Consists of one soft, uncured layer bonded to a cured, abrasion-resistant layer. Unique separator allows controlled removal at the user’s discretion. An air-tight, water-proof, gas-tight seal is formed when the uncured layer is bonded to itself.

The industry standard for temporary splice coverings on communication and control cables. Maintains gas pressure in pressurized cable. Communications Industry Specification 7144.

Non-adhesive, self-bonding communications tape used for critical sealing and re-jacketing. One layer of uncured compound permanently fused to an abrasion-resistant layer of cured rubber. Easy-tear separator. Controlled unwind.

Full or half-lapped, a strong bond develops between both plies to maintain gas pressure in pressurized cables. Communications Industry DR Specifications TL-192 and 6863.

150 ASTM ®

A 30 mil (0,76 mm) self-amalgamating, low voltage rubber tape that can be used for insulating cable splices through 2kV, in conjunction with a jacketing tape. Compatible with low and high density polyethylene and polypropylene PIC cables plus all rubber and PVC cable elements.

150 ASTM conforms easily and self-amalgamates into a homogenous, void-free mass to provide an effective moisture seal. ASTM-D-4388, Communications Industry Specification 6746.

A 7 mil (0,18mm) woven glass fabric tape with a thermosetting rubber based, pressure sensitive adhesive used for insulating and protecting high temperature (130°C) connections, such as motor leads and transformer windings.

77 Plyglas has high tensile strength for splice reinforcement and provides excellent tear and abrasion resistance. Use 77 Plyglas to hold down 53 Plyarc arc- and fire-proofing tape. Comm. Spec. 7611, ASTM-D-2754, MIL-I- 15126F/GFT.

Vinyl Mastic (VM) ®

A self-fusing mastic compound with an all-weather, premium vinyl backing that can be used for insulating and water-sealing electrical connections through 600 volts. Small roll sizes can be stretched and molded around irregular shapes, even in tight locations.

Provides excellent electrical proper-ties, superior adhesion, and moisture and chemical resistance. Vinyl backing adds UV protection. Use for insulating overhead and direct buried low voltage connections, motor lead connections, and cable and conduit repair.

A self-amalgamating, insulating mastic for insulating and sealing all types of overhead and direct buried electrical connections up to 600 Volts. 10 Plyseal has superior adhesion to metals, cable insulations, and jackets with no adverse effect on polymeric conducting shields. For watersealing duct work, cable ends, and all types of splices.

100 ASTM ®

A high quality cotton fabric coated on both sides with a black rubber adhesive compound which provides good adhesion to all types of surfaces. A 15 mil (0,38mm) general purpose tape that provides excellent protection against abrasion. ASTM-D-4514, Comm. Spec. 6747, HHT 101A

A 30 mil (0,76mm) elastomeric tape that provides excellent flame and arc protection for all types of cables. When exposed to flame, 53 Plyarc will generate a thermally insulating residue for cable protection. Use on cable conduit where added fire protection is required. Excellent flexibility and conformability for easy application. Available in grey.

Plytel Sealing Tape is our newest laminate bonding rubber sheet for mechanical and corrosion protection. The laminate is easy to apply and remains flexible at low temperatures. Plytel has a strong adhesion to steel and to all types of cable jackets yielding a positive moisture seal.
